Equine Nutrition Consultation

We offer independent online and onsite equine nutrition services. We use the most up to date feed analysis systems and scientific evidence to deliver the most informative nutritional support to the feed regimen of your horse.

E-consultation

This is the most cost-effective form of consultation for clients. Clients are sent a series of forms and questionnaires to fill out and send back to us for evaluation. A report is compiled and then a phone consultation is scheduled to discuss nutrition plans and answer any questions.

Price: $50 per horse

Included in e-consultation:

• Digital questionnaire, information sheets for body scoring, weight estimation and pasture examination guidelines

• Digital nutrition report

• Phone consultation and report analysis (1-2 hours depending on the number of horses)

• 4-6 weeks of evaluation of horse’s condition and performance

Onsite

For a more personal and detailed plan, an onsite consultation is recommended. Onsite consultations include a brief inspection and examination of the horse’s health/condition as well as the pastures on the property. Extensive documentation of your horse’s history, performance, training and general management. Onsite consultation services are available throughout the Valley Region of Virginia. Services are available beyond this region for additional cost.

Price: $100 per horse

Included in onsite consultation:

• Onsite consultation (1.5-4 hours depending on the number of horses)

• Detailed nutrition report analysis. Hard copy and digital copy available.

• Phone consultation and report analysis (1-2 hours depending on the number of horses)

• 4-6 weeks of evaluation of horse’s condition and performance

Packages 

• $200 for e-consultations

• $300 for onsite consultations 

• up to six months of nutrition plans and consultations. 

Soil Testing

Soil testing is offered for $40 for the first test and $20 after every seeding cycle. For more information, please contact us.
